Yesterday was "Culture Day" in First Grade, so my little Krautchen stepped forward to represent the Vaterland. He explained all about the Alps and all the crazy German castles, and gave a dissertation on German food (his favorite being Gummibears). Despite my pleas, Mütti wouldn't let him discuss in any detail the pros and cons of the various German brewing options.
